About
Welcome to Watch and Marvel, a blog about marvellous watches. This blog is written by a watch enthusiast, and is focussed mainly on classic watches.
Although I keep an eye on the watchmaking industry for news about the latest models, I do not review every single new model. I only feature on this blog those watches that catch my eye. In addition (although perhaps, it should really go without saying), I cannot think of any circumstances in which a digital watch will ever be featured on this blog. Also, from time to time, I will take a trip down memory lane to review some good old watches from the past.
A little bit about me. I am a 30-something year old tax adviser. When not dealing with the tax affairs of many, I can be found admiring beautiful watches or reading and reciting good poetry. My longstanding aim is to write a fine poem in trochaic meter, perhaps something to rival Longfellow’s Hiawatha. Will I ever do it? I definitely hope so.
This blog is open to all, and fellow watch-lovers are especially welcome. I hope you all enjoy the blog, and if anyone knows of any marvellous watches out there, please feel free to share with us all.
